The battery of a DC car is one of the most sensitive components and also the one that requires the most care.
To ensure you can enjoy it for as long as possible and drive the vehicle for a long time, it is absolutely necessary to charge the battery properly and correctly.
The standard Faller plug-in chargers are not suitable for this purpose. There are numerous processor chargers on the market that are certainly suitable for this purpose. However, the ALC 8500 expert represents the absolute top class.

Admittedly, the menu navigation on the ALC 8500 expert can be quite cumbersome and confusing for beginners at first. I would definitely recommend using the software here.

The ALC 8500 expert has a database in which you can save up to 40 batteries (vehicles). This means you don't have to configure all the battery details every time, but simply call up the corresponding vehicle from the memory, set the desired charging program, and the ALC does the rest automatically. A sample database is available for this model here, which can be downloaded and transferred to the device using the included software: accu.alc

In conjunction with this simple operation and in combination with the XT module, the operation of an automatic charging station would also be possible with a little effort.

Certainly, purchasing the ALC 8500 expert isn't a cheap proposition at first, but in the long run, the cars and batteries will thank you with long operating times, and it saves you the constant investment in new batteries. Furthermore, the vehicle model doesn't get any better if you constantly have to open it to replace the battery.
