Please note: There are many different models.
Therefore, standard sets may not always fit.

Running models of various brands can be retrofitted with DC car decoders.
Pre-wired DC car sets are available for this purpose.

Update/Upgrade DC Car
The development of the DC car decoder is constantly evolving. Therefore, it may be necessary to correct errors (update) or to request new functions (upgrade).
For vehicle decoders, an 8-pin update socket is required, which should be mounted on the vehicle in an easily accessible location.
The update socket is intended for this purpose.

If new firmware is available for the decoder, it can be installed by the DC Car Service.
You cannot make this change yourself Perform this update.
Contact your supplier or DC-Car-Service.

- at certain exhibitions/trade fairs with DC-Car-Service
e.g., Dortmund, Leipzig, Houten, etc.

For complicated settings, it is advisable to save the values using the CV-Programmer.
This allows you to read the values in a text file if necessary.

CV Programmer for DC-Car
Only the CV Programmer for DC-Car is capable of reading the vehicle decoder settings. The latest version can be downloaded from Download.
Model Railway Software
Windigipet offers upgrades (for a fee) from one version to a higher version.
Starting with version Pro X, the DC-Car PC transmitter can be used with DC-Car.
In between, there are updates that can be downloaded free of charge from the website.
Starting with version 2009/5, servo decoders are supported via serial interface (USB adapter).
