Voltage: 3,6 bis 3,7 Volt

Charging cycles: approximately 500
Current: Standard 1C means 100 mAh capacity charge with 100 mA in 1 hour
This type of accu must never deeply discharged(< 3,0 Volt)!
The loading must be done with a special, controlled loaders.

Attention! The terminals of LiPo battery must never be short-circuited. Fire hazard !!
NiMH
NiMH = Nickel Metallhydrid
Voltage: 1,2 Volt
Voltage End of Charge: 1,45 Volt
Capacity: from 40 to 2800 mAh.
Charging cycles: approximately 1500
Currend: normal 1/10 C means 100 mAh capacity charge with 10 mA. 14 hours.
Modern Typs as GP can to 1C chargeed. 100 mAh Capacity charge with 100 mA.

Battery cell

For this battery the battery cell charger must be used.
Note: The voltage can be harmful to the DC05-Si, because it amounts to about 3.5 Volt !!
LiIon batteries with USB-C connection

There are now batteries with a built-in charge controller.
These are connected to a USB power supply (5V) and charged via USB-C.
During operation they ran at 1.5 V and with the AAA 900mWh! That is the equivalent of 600 mAh.
An Eneloop cell is available as AAA with 750 mAh or 900 mAh.
A measured short-circuit current of 3 A would enable use in a DC car.
As this is a Li-Ion battery, the charging time is short. (Approx. 1 hour)
But when the battery's charging plug is used,
5 volts are present on the external terminals.
A vehicle with a DCxx-SI decoder
must not be switched on under any circumstances. If this is ensured with the power switch, such a vehicle can be charged with 5V at the charging port.
A USB-C socket could be installed for this purpose.
A mobile phone charger with the corresponding USB-C port serves as the charger. (new standard)
An enclosed cable allows 4 batteries to be connected to a USB-A power supply.
Be careful with a USB port on the laptop!
They are not intended for charging 4 batteries!
Eneloop
The Technic "Eneloop", "Ready to use" is a new technologie.
The Eneloop AAA cells with 750 mAh or 800 mAh have a lower self-consumption as normal NiMH batteries. Therefore, may also be stored longer without charge. (Up to 3 years)
Since this battery's are in the type AAA = Micro, battery holder can be used.
Due to this change the batteries lasting operation is carried out at fairs and exhibitions.
Also in the battery buses from Faller® these batteries can be used.

Note:
Since this battery's can be loaded with 1C = 800 mA charge current, the external charging with conventional chargers is a cheap and safe solution.
Thus, no battery in the model are hot or scorching the cable inside.
Connection cable
Battery's can deliver a lot of power. For this, the cord must be rated.
Therefore, not only take "a" enamelled copper wire.
We recommend the [PVC cable].
Emergency several twisted wires of copper enameled wire are suitable.
How much depends on the highest battery power. (Short circuit)
